CS / VM fair & expected use policy Print

  • 0

We've established a clear usage policy for our CS (Cloud Server) series, setting expected long-term limits to ensure fair access for all customers while preserving fast, consistent performance across the platform.

Our general compute infrastructure is specifically designed and optimized for web hosting and everyday operational duties, including hosting websites, content management systems (CMS), ERP platforms, database servers, file and application servers, email services, APIs, development and staging environments, CI/CD pipelines, and other typical business or application workloads that operate within moderate, variable resource patterns.

Intensive tasks like video encoding, 3D rendering, large-scale data crunching, or continuous high-CPU simulations can easily drive utilization above 50% for hours or days at a time. Such usage consumes disproportionate electricity and strains general compute infrastructure, which isn't sustainable under standard plans. For these resource-intensive workloads, we recommend dedicated machines with guaranteed power availability, isolated hardware, and tailored billing that accurately reflects the energy and capacity required. This keeps our compute environment equitable and efficient for everyone.
